I am so OCD sometimes it is not even funny.

My latest?

I catalouged my entire bookshelf in author order - not including the books in storage but including the books packed in a box under the table up here - in an Excel document, by Title, Author, Preceded By..., and Followed By.... The last two for series.

I feel so accomplished. I finally finished the bookshelf itself. Onward to the box!!!

XDD I am such a loser. I know this.

Also OMG THEY FOUND BIGFOOT? O.o

And a meme, stolen from [personal profile] assimbya if anyone wants to try it.

If you've ever watched your favorite DVDs, and then found yourself eager to hear exactly what the actors, directors, writers and even production designers thought about making the episode, the movie, or whatever - you'll know sometimes the best parts of DVDs are hearing the commentaries. Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

Ask me about any story, and I'll do a DVD commentary for it! Satisfy your curiosity!

If my stories aren't at [profile] ficviendha (i.e. most/all of my Wheel of Time stuff), it's on FFN under Min Daae.

First, found this on my flist: What a gem.

Worth taking a look at the context, here.

WANKITY WANK WANK WANK.

Worth checking out over at Fandom Wank.

Admittedly, [personal profile] flemco had some valid points, but a combination of baby pictures, condescension, holier-than-thou attitude and sky high arrogance officially invalidated everything they said. Hahahaha. I love it when people are more foot in mouth than I am. However, arguments prove that after time, all things disintegrate into OP saying "GET FUCKED."

Gotta love that creativity there, eh?

ANYWAY. Back to story. Word count update in a bit, with an excerpt, I promise. I don't care if nobody reads them, YOU ARE GETTING A FRIGGIN EXCERPT.

*pants* Sorry. I think NaNo has blown my brain. Or maybe just [profile] desperatefans. Oh god, I have five crazy puppets in my head now. Remind me again why I'm looking for another? Oh yeah, because I'm stupid. *sighs* Oh well. *troops off*
Well, my list of priorities for this weekend looks like this:

1. NaNoWriMo
2. Write English paper rough draft
3. Make icons
4. Write in Otherworld
5. Do Drawing assignment
6. Write up Biology conclusion

There is something seriously wrong with me. The story is going well, though. 1,059 words today, already. Not even 6:00 yet. :D

WORD COUNT: 3,700.

Oh God, do not let me fail. I will win this NaNoWriMo. I will KICK ITS ASS.

An excerpt, for interested parties.

Arrrrgh. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still a member of [community profile] antishurtugal. Sometimes they just set off my temper zones like mad.

And that's annoying. I don't like getting mad. On the other hand, I did just make an extremely amusing crackplot (if I do say so myself) on [profile] desperatefans. We'll see how it goes over.

At any rate. No, you're not mindless Tolkien worshipers. Just Tolkien worshipers. They happen, I know - just don't expect me to be thrilled when they do, that's all I'm saying. The more rabid Tolkien worship fanatics I met, the less I like the fandom and the books. Especially Lord of the Rings. I still love the Hobbit.

*sigh* Sometimes I think I'm too confrontational. I have no idea. Hopefully I will have pictures for you on Halloween, because my costume is rather awesome (if I do say so myself). But anyway. Ramblyness over. Maybe I'll actually post a coherent rant about fantasy stereotypes later, because I have sort of a lot of things to say on the subject. Or - hey! something to do during Spanish tomorrow.

I want to start my NaNoWriMo. Waaah.

Loves to [profile] redsilkscarf, suffering the post-show blues. Don't worry, chitlin, the jokes aren't over yet. >:D

*is done*

And no, I'm not really going to call you chitlin. I just felt like saying it there. XD
FUCK YOU, ITUNES.

DELETES ALL MY MUSIC. WON'T GIVE ME MY LABELS BACK. THE BITCH. I WANT TO KILL SOMETHING. PROBABLY ITUNES.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I HAVE SPENT TRYING TO COAX THIS INTO WORKING AND I HAVE ANOTHER HALF HOUR BEFORE THE NAZI FATHER COMES AND LYNCHES ME. I WILL PROBABLY BE UP LATER THAN THAT, THOUGH. STUPID ITUNES. FUCKER. I HATE IT.

RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGH.

So, just as a side note, what is everyone else going as, if anything?

Lucivar? Sometimes I wonder about you. You get feelings at the strangest of times. And sometimes, lack of social skills and all, I actually feel sorry for you. The Miranda Incident was one. And actually, while wibbling over the current Armand mess, I actually feel sort of sorry for Lucivar, too. He actually feels bad. For Armand. Which is...odd. And he's worried for someone outside his immediate family, which is also rather odd.

Poor puppets of mine. They are all very distressed right now. With the possible exception of Melisande and Khardeen, that is. The checklist is:

Cassandra: doomed
Karla: pissy and upset
Jaenelle: wee, upset, and dangerous
Aaron: dangerous
Lucivar: ....
Khardeen: NA
Melisande: a little nervy
Firekeeper: annoyed
Kalush: wee, but not anything else.

I feel like a horrible typist. And the more I play him, the more I fall in love with Lucivar. Is that bad?

Here I have definitively found the airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is 24 miles an hour. :D Stumble FTW.

Also, the Spanish Inquisition Videos are the best thing ever. Look them up on YouTube.

I find this more amusing than I should.

This site makes me giggle.

A really pointless but fun game.

Like this one.

This thing is really trippy.

And finally...Arsebook.

Made of win.

And, online friends? I want to see all of you replying to this post to give me some ideas, because like it or not you are going to get something, so there.

ANOTHER BOOK UPDATE!!!

After You'd Gone - Maggie o'Farrell. This book was, as [profile] ersatz_iolo put it, gorgeous and heartbreaking. It was beautiful, the story was captivating and it was absolutely heart-wrenching. Read it read it read it.

1984 - George Orwell. Geez, but this book was creepy. I didn't like it that much, actually. I actually didn't find it as awesomely disturbing as

Brave New World - Aldous Huxley. This book was made of complete and total win. I loved the ending, loved the writing, the world he created was absolutely fascinating and very, very scary. I adored this book and it is basically a must read for everyone.

A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess. This book was really bizarre. Really, really, bizarre. But really, really good. The slang took a while to catch on, but if you just let the words flow over you it's a lovely book in it's own way. The way the brutality is softened just by the view of the main character is fascinating, and the use of a narrator this obviously biased is very effective.

Lord of the Flies - William Golding. I can't wait to discuss this book in school. That is all.

That's actually all I can remember right now. But anyway, I'm going to go...place. Yeah. That.

Black Jewels Trilogy is love. I'm going to write some Aaron/Kalush maybe. And perhaps some more Daemon/Jaenelle. And Karlafic, because she needs more love.

Also, considering posting more of the story. Would anyone be interested?

Totally psyched for Halloween! Just wait until you see the pictures...:D

You know what I want to do?

I want to write Black Jewels Trilogy fanfiction. Maybe I will go write some Black Jewels Trilogy fanfiction. That would be fun.

But then again, probably not.

Real update maybe later or something? Also, Lady Lucivar FTW. Yay, [profile] desperatefans.

I have ideas, too. I just need to write them. Maybe Spanish tomorrow would be a good time to do that, yes? Yes. And maybe I'll actually get some sort of semblance of a brain back. Dammit. This weekend is rockin', but I kind of want my brain to come back from wherever it went.

Okay, a few memes:

First, tagged by [profile] redsilkscarf:

The rules are easy. Just post 10 things that recently made you happy! Then tag 10 people to post this meme on their LJs.

1. Bryan ETHAN.
2. Homecoming Dance!
3. Ben & Jerry's.
4. Lucivar. I adore him. I adore playing him.
5. New nail polish! :DD
6. No homework
7. A Clockwork Orange and Brave New World. So good zomg.
8. Puppy. She always does.
9. My bookshelf always makes me happy.
10. My Halloween costume! (it almost kicks more ass than Mimi's; but not quite.)

I tag... whoever wants to do it. I don't even really have ten friends anyway.

And then, the seven songs I like meme: maybe with a few links later. Too late for that right now.

1. Opheliac - Emilie Autumn (I blame [profile] princeralis)
2. Lullabye for a Stormy Night (I don't know why I love this so much all of a sudden, but I do.)
3. Breathe (2 am) - Anna Nalick (So beautiful. So singable. I love it.)
4. Amaranth - Nightwish (I'm sorry for the disloyalty...but it has a really catchy chorus.)
5. Full Moon - Sonata Arctica (I cannot get over the awesomeness of this song.)
6. Frozen - Within Temptation (I think the really intense music video for this one made me fall in love with it, actually.)
7. Miserie Cantare - AFI (I actually like this song a lot, all of a sudden.)

...first of all, I think I'm over Bryan. Really. Seriously. I know.

*DOES A VICTORY DANCE*

So anyway, HOMECOMING ZOMGZ. We won, of course, but that wasn't the best part. The best part was arguing feminism with Rachel, chatting with Eugie, John, and Bryan in a "normal" (for us) way, and getting to stand right behind my new love interest. *glees* Oh and going down to Safeway, getting ice cream, and having Caro tell me that "He is so totally into you." Even if it's not true. It's nice to dream.

Homecoming dance tomorrow, update later.
