Dear Summergen writer!

First things first. I am so very excited to have you writing something for me! Overall, despite how I make it sound, I am rather easy to please, and if you enjoy what you write I will probably enjoy it as well.

Okay, so first things first: I'm pretty hard to squick and I really enjoy horror-fic and hurt/comfort with some amount of emphasis on the hurt. I am also...pretty much entirely a Samgirl, hard as I have fought the distinction, but am generally in favor of fair portrayals of any character. Character bashing is just a no-no. Of anyone.

Although slightly biased in favor of Sam character interpretation does not usually go awry.

I tend to prefer later season fic to earlier or pre/series fic; don't have a lot of interest in teen or wee!Chesters. I love alternate universes: playing around with what-ifs is, as far as I'm concerned, the best part of fanfiction.

Moving on to the specifics of my requests - which you can ignore or fly with as you please. This is just here to be helpful, if you want help. If you don't, sail on by with my love and well-wishes! (And excitement.)

Prompt One: Sam in any AU version of the 5.04 universe. No, really. Any version at all. Go. Bonus for hurt!Sam without excessive melodrama. Understatement is my favorite thing.

I love the 5.04 verse. I love Sam interacting with Lucifer, why Sam said yes, AUs where he doesn't, AUs where Dean does, AUs where Sam and Dean both survive and reunite, AUs where one or both doesn't, everything. I just. Love so much about this verse and Sam's place in it. (Yes, Sam's. I don't have a lot of interest in what Dean 'n Castiel are doing.) Although Sam and Castiel fic in this verse is also wonderful, and a thing I kind of have a yen for - in the sense of 'Cas attempts to be supportive of both Winchesters at the same time maybe' or something like that. ...yes.

Prompt Two: Sam+Hallucifer = <3 forever. This I firmly believe. NOW THAT IT IS GONE I am in even more need of the fic; come now, fandom, give me what I want.

There is...not much more that I can say here. I write a lot of this, but I always want more, more! and just. Anything with Hallucifer and Sam interacting, doing whatever, preferably more on the creepy/bffs with bonus possessiveness side than the outright torture side. Because subtly creepy is the best kind of creepy, and Lucifer and Sam are best friends (sort of). It is known. (emmram does some of my favorite Hallucifer, if you want a reference of what I really like. But go your own direction! Do something fun.)

Prompt Three: Oldie but goodie: hunters try to take Sam down (post S5). Dean gets thoroughly in the way. Actually I will just word for word poach this one: "Word gets out that Sam Winchester is still in control of his Among The Living Mastercard, and apparently, some hunters still don’t like him too much due to: starting the Apocalypse / believing he is still the Antichrist and/or destined to bring about the end of the world in some other way / your choice. Awesome!BigBro!Dean to the rescue. S5 / 6 / 7. Bonus for S6 / 7, if Dean snaps and yells at the hunters before however-it-is-you-decide-he-deals-with-them, telling them how Sam basically saved the world and what he had to go through to do it."

This is my 'ridiculously self-indulgent hurt/comfort-y prompt' of the bunch, and one I am secretly fond of. And an idea that I just apparently can't get enough of, because I know there is fic for this. It's the last part I really want, actually, of Dean actually expressing his pride in Sam and what he's done for. You know. Everybody. Yeah.

I said it was self-indulgent.

Whatever you go for, though, I'm sure I will love it! And I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I hope I am not a difficult or painful assignment, and that you enjoy the fic you receive as much as I'm sure I will enjoy mine!

SELF-INDULGENCE RULES!!!!! Mainly because you being self-indulgent means me getting what I like most! So I'm loving your prompts to death!

Anyway, I'm just back from JibCon (I spent the last two days uploading vids and writting a shameless fangirl report to my LJ) but now I'm catching up and I saw that vail sent the the betae of the new short fic I mentioned you I was writing. I did try 'understatement' so I hope you will like it too . It'll be posted in a couple of things after I revise it.

I'd love to have a good idea for a fic in the 5.04 universe. If I get one someday I'll dare to try (although as you see I'm the slowest writer ever, hahaha).
