The real reason I don't comment on things as often as I should guys
Is because when something is really good I just lose the ability to speak in any coherent manner and honestly all I can do is flail my arms and go "alksjdlfkj" which is like the furthest thing from helpful ever. No, seriously. It is a thing, like, where when things are truly beautiful and amazing, whether it is a fic or art or a book or music, I just...can't find the words. Suddenly they are all gone.
And it drives me nuts because I can't express to the person who did it, or to the people around me, this is wonderful, not to the degree I want to. There just aren't the words I need to say how wonderful it is. And so my solution is to say nothing at all.
So here's to all the authors who reduce me to speechless wonder. There are a few of you on my flist (a lot of you on my flist) and even more that I'm too scared to friend.
The things you do are awesome.
Don't forget it.
