6) In seventh/eighth grade, I used to be part of a very OOC, post-Harry Hogwarts RPG called the Realm. I met someone about my age there who had been playing longer than I had (I think I was 13, and she had been RPing since she was 11) and she took me under her wing, so to speak. She told me about the Wheel of Time, and once I started reading it, we ended up making our characters Aes Sedai and first-sisters and all that jazz. I think Crossroads of Twilight came out a year or so after I had finished reading Winter's Heart, so... er... I guess I discovered the series 4 years ago, give or take a year.
