fanficrants entry...
Warnings on fic - the author noted that there aren't any on books. Someone posted a humorous idea of what books should be warned for. Was a good idea. Icons may be forthcoming.
Terry Pratchett: May cause convulsions in readers prone to seizures.
Wheel of Time: Various unpleasant methods of death and non-graphic sexual situations.
Twelfth Night: Cross-dressing, extreme confusion, some male on female-pretending-to-be-male action.
Farseer Trilogy: Death, sorrow, and angst. Downer of a series.
Sara Douglass: Summary on FFN would read: WARNINGS: anal rape (unconsensual buttsecks), pretentious and glorified use of Greek myth, and violent character deaths. Not a Sue.
Odyssey: Cannibalism, violence, some frightening fantasy sequences.
Earth's Children: Sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex happy author, sex, sex...NOT A SUE.
More on the Farseer Trilogy/Robin Hobb and the Sara Greek Myth Connection later. I'ma go sleep now.

So much love for the Sara Douglass summary even though I haven't read her, <3s for the Odyssey, and you are right on the money with Earth's Children, not that I've read it or anything *cough*. Oh, and you're right about Terry Pratchett, too- the first time I read The Light Fantastic my stomach hurt from laughing every other sentence. The WoT one's spot-on, too- especially the SECS.

She is so sex happy. And Terry Pratchett probably has caused seizures before. Tee hee.
SECS: Silly Eggs Choice Scenarios?
(I am so clueless toward abbreviated terms)

‘S-E-C-S. Standard Enforced Censored Shennigans.’ Cal propped himself up on an elbow, smiling at my doubtless aghast expression. ‘Jordan gets nervous about his characters being caught en flagrante – the Wheel of Time series stretches to implied sexual acts only.’
