I think my sister has stopped trusting me.

We have nothing in common any more. She doesn't talk to me at all, even when something is obviously bothering her, and it seems like all we do is fight. We used to be so close, but now I'm afraid our relationship is falling apart.

That scares me.

I wouldn't worry about it. You're both growing teens, so there are bound to be certain times where you guys aren't connecting. I'll eat my beret if your relationship actually does fall apart... because I know it won't. No way would I say something like that if I thought I'd actually have to eat such a lovely hat. ;-) Trust me on this. You're siblings, and siblings get into tiffs and such; it's really nothing to lose sleep over.

Thank you for your words of wisdom. That sounds right - I hope it is just a phase, and we'll get through it.

Don't eat the beret, it is pretty.

I agree with Mimi on all counts. Have you seen my sister and I? We're really close but when we fight it's terrible. You'll never lose that relationship. I swear to God. It'll never happen. Nothing falls apart over little tiffs. And how old is she now? Sophmore? Junior? And you're in 8th grade. you're both teens, and you're both rebelious and blah di freaking blah.

That is true. When I look at it that way, it does seem a bit more reasonable or whatever.

Young Johnny yay.

Thank you for your words of wisdom and wise and sagelyness. The sagely wiseness is sagely wise and redundant.

But really, thank you. It helps to hear from someone who's gone through something similar and found a was through it. M'aww.

And that icon wins, by the way.
