OMGGGGGG [community profile] desperatefans.

THIS IS SO MUCH EFFING FUN.

HAHAHAHA.

Just joined as Cassandra. And now the fun really gets going... Karla is flirting madly with Pierre Gringoire while befriending a mute child and talking to Jonathan Strange, and having a bitchfight with Pansy Parkinton. Melisande has had a total personality reversal and is currently telling Alcuin how much she wants to be friends with him, while simultaneously finding out about pistols (oh dear) and flirting with Armand St. Just, who is MARRIED WITH A CHILD. Cassandra is having a very strange and extremely amusing conversation with the White Queen, and also talking to Clytemnestra, Artemis, Eris, La Esmeralda, and Mina Harker. *grins* Wow, this is fun.

On another note, we're moving this week. I want to read Anne Bishop, but it's already packed up. *whine* Everyone say hi to [personal profile] assimbya, my new friend through teh [community profile] desperatefans and teh [profile] redsilkscarf. *waves*

*waves back* DF truly is absolutely amazing, isn't it? I remember, just after I first joined, I was amazed by all those sorts of conversations, "Clytemnestra is talking to Hamlet! Mina Harker's brefriending Lisa Rowe from Girl, Interrupted, Marius de Romanus from the Vampire Chronicles and Henry Jekyll! Hedda Gabler is talking to Mordred! Morgan le Fay's being pestered by Alice from Alice in Wonderland!"

It never really wears off, that amazement, I think. And, then, of cousre, you find out how utterly wonderful many of the players are, and how willing they are to get into weird pairings and situations and such...it's great.

Yes, definitely. I can't believe how awesome it is *grin* And the character crossover interactions are certainly very fun. Especially Cassandra and the White Queen.

Oh, man, I am a teh! This is incredible! :D

::Feels terribly guilty about not being on there... but has to get familiar with her character first!::

How's the packing coming? I want to heeelp!

Oh, yes, and I am now reminded, I found some Frollo fan fiction and was meaning to link you to it. An Early Transgression (Gringoire/Frollo; who would have thought?) and Le Monde des Cathedrales (Frollo/Quasimodo, which is quite inherently disturbing). I've been meaning to look for more, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

And I will get back on Locked Gallery, probably tomorrow. It's just...playing Cassandra there is really intense, and I can only really do it every few days.

Gringoire/Frollo? I would love to see someone pull that off! And OMGWTFBBQ, I ADORE Le Monde des Cathedrales! I read it forever ago; thank you so much for this link!

I understand what you mean about it being intense- I can think of some things where I'm like that, too. However, RPing as Marius is not one of them so I am constantly on lockedgallery! Perhaps not as much as some people, but still... ;-)

You're welcome. :)

Cassandra's just...intense, especially the way I tend to play her. But it's fun, also! I can imagine that Marius wouldn't be quite like that.

Cassandra is a very complex character, so I definitely can see how playing her would be a very intense experience. Marius, on the other hand... he's one of those Parisian students, and a gentleman to boot. What can I say? ;-)

::do it do it do it::

Pretty well - I have a few more boxes to do. Are you busy after school every day this week? Maybe you could come over - since it's WASLs we don't have much homework...

*Waves madly* Hi Assimbya!!! (Wow, it's going to take me a while to learn to spell that)
