I need a meaningful update. I do, I do, I do.

Curses.

Made vanillashortening chocolate chip cookies at a friend's house this morning and ate a HEAP of them. Now have Degrassi on the television, so watched some of that. Went on a long walk. Ate out at a Thai restaurant and watched "Madagascar" for lack of better things to do.

It was amusing.

And very little else.

I think I learned more from the They Might Be Giants song "Why Does the Sun Shine? (the Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas)" than I did in a whole week of science. Is that pathetic, or is that pathetic?

I can't get into any books, and it suuuuucks. And nobody is replying to the plotlines on desperatefans. *bitchwhine* I need to start one, I think.

Going along with the meaningful entires thing, here is a meaningful comment: I feel really, really dumb for not realising that the Nightwish song Nemo is in refernce to the (Latin) word nemo and not Captain Nemo. I was pretty close, though, right?

Totally sympathising with the not-being-able-to-get-into-books thing here. Everything I've tried reading lately has been kind of blah (except for when I had 2 hours to kill in a library the other day, and even though I had a ton of work to do stupid me spotted KoD on the shelves and decided to read just ONE Mat-scene in it, and before I knew it my two hours had gone...) and none of my favourite fanfics have been updating (except for you of course, hon...which reminds me: one of my friends has a couple of pairings that she's just dying for you to write about in Love is Blind (she's a total fan of yours, btw) but she's too shy to ask you about it. If I get them off of her will you pretty please with a cherry on top try them? *puppy dog eyes* I'll be your servant for forever...

on the other hand, chocolate chip cookies! You are talented, girl! I'm a disaster in the kitchen, so I avoid it as much as possible ;)

It is extremely frustrating, especially since I have a heap of books to read. Maybe I should just give in and start a Song of Ice and Fire. *sigh*
