I've got the Bryan Blues Weekend Blues. Startlingly, they aren't too bad. Bought Kushiel's Scion today. Finished Transformation by Carol Berg today. It was good enough that I'm trying the rest of the series, so I will hold off on an official review until I finish. Have to finish projects before I leave to dogsit for 7 hours. Hoo boy.

People, get on IM. I'll need someone to talk to for several hours, eh?

*final sigh* And just for good measure, the updates on [community profile] desperatefans action.

Karla and Armand hit some rocks in their pseudorelationship. Cassandra is being adorable with Gideon, i.e. very embarrassed. Terisa and Melisande are getting it on. So there.

I need more stuff to do. Or more interesting punctuation. Sigh.

I like the story I'm writing, but I have a fear that it is very disjointed. Anyone willing to suffer through it to tell me if it is?

And the countdowns:

5 more days left of school.
2 real days left of school.
7 days left until the end of school.
8 days until I leave for France.
1 day since the longest bus ride ever.
0 days until Steve's graduation.

Sweet! I think I had lunch in Provence, if I remember correctly- it was a foot-long hot dog in a french-bread roll. Magnifique. Also, try the crepes because you'll kick yourself if you don't.
And omg, go up to the top of the Eiffel Tower for me. We only got to the second level because we arrived there late. Also, try not to break any elevators.

And don't refer to the bathroom as the W.C., because it's archaic. Everyone says 'les toilettes'.

two weeks will definatly be long enough. I know it sounds short now, but 14 days of nonstop sightseeing and walking around, trains, cabs, parents with maps, and French that you can only half understand will get tiring and overwhelming. I speak from the experiance of 10 days in Costa Rica, which sounds like nothing, which was amazing, and which a both wanted to stretch on forever but was one of the most tiring experiences of my life...

Okay, seriously, graduation. HOW BORING CAN YOU BE! Plus they mispronounced Mimi's name. That ticked me off. Anyway. Does it feel as wierd for you as it does for me. It still hasn't HIT me HIT me, but I know she's out of school. I know that she's now an ADULT, and it's wierd...

yeah.
