It does my reader's heart good to see people reading a book in the streets at 1:00 am.

Gone for a week, on a mission trip to Yakima. Be back next Saturday.

This book...actually, the ending disappointed me. Sadistic and brutal as it sounds, I wanted Harry to die, and the ending was a little too...fairy tale...for me. I loved the Malfoys - they were goood in this book. But I wasn't particularly surprised by the ending, except that Tonks and Lupin died. That part made me cry. I think it was the only part that did.

BUT,

OMG SNAPE.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. AND THE OTHER PART THAT MADE ME CRY WAS THE PART TALKING ABOUT SNAPE'S PAST AND SNAPE/LILY AND ALL THE STUFF WITH DUMBLEDORE AND OH MY GOD THAT WAS SAD. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE!!!??? *WEEP*

Have to go now. I'm going to cry over Severus a little more. *sigh*

Stupid fiction gods. Listen to [personal profile] shorelle next time.

Really? I love the ending...after all of this, I would have been devastated if it had been too dark. I mean, I'm already devastated, because of Fred, and Dobby, and Fred, and Lupin, and Fred, and Tonks, and Fred...and did I mention Fred? *sob*

As soon as Lupin asked Harry to be godfather I knew he was going to die, but it still brought a fresh wave of tears...mind you, I was crying most of the way through the ending, anyway.

*sniff* The Snape/Lily was so sad, and the way she wrote it was so beautiful...he's still a dick, though, whatever his motivations were.

I just can't get over Dumbledore...*is shell-shocked* I never thought he was an evil-dark-past sort of guy...

The part of the book that made me cry was at the very end when Harry told his son that Snape was the bravest man he ever knew. T_T I've never been a huge Snape fan, but Half-Blood Prince and this book made him a top character for me.

I honestly think the whole book was written for my to cry.
I cried when Dobby died (sobbed when Harry carved the stone.)
I cried when Fred died to the point where I had to stop reading.
I cried when Lupin and Tonks were seen .
I sobbed through every page, every word of chapter 34.
I cried when I read the word 'Epilogue'.
I sobbed through the rest of that and after I closed the book.

I had realized Snape had to die so it wasn't a big shock, the only thing that stirred me was how he died.

I too thought Harry needed to die but, I was pleased with the ending.

Oh, and there were too many close calls with Hagrid. My stuffed animals were cursing JKR.
