calvin and hobbes: Calvin and Hobbes seriously has a comic for everything. EVERYTHING. I grew up with these and they were and are my favorite comic. Who doesn't love this. Plus, Calvin and I both love dinos, and das cool.

gothic literature: I actually haven't read that much of it, but Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier is definitely up on my favorite books list, and I really would like to read more in the same vein.

libraries: Essentially unlimited books? For free?! GIVE ME MORE.

peppermints: I'm addicted. What more can I say?

piano: I play it, all my friends play it, and it is pretty. Piano pwns all other instruments, kthxbai.

shiny things: I am secretly a magpie, and therefore attracted to all things that gleam, sparkle, or glisten. In other words, shiny things.

trenchcoats: They're fun to wear, and besides, they're really hot on guys.

1. You make me laugh. All the time. And not just in a 'you amuse me' way or a 'you cheer me up' way. You just have a store of funny statements.

2. I love that you can listen to me angst without yelling at me. It's patience. Your patience is phenomenal, really. It never ceases to amaze me.

3. You're beautiful inside and outside. Even though you're not nice to everyone, at least you're civil, and that's something I wish I could do sometimes.

Explain: killing things on accident, sticking metal in toasters, names, carmen, running with scissors, the color purple, psychology. That's eight.

Killing things on accident: I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life. I wish I was some kind of earth goddess, but I'm not, period.
Sticking metal in toasters: People tell me never to put a fork in the toaster to get out my English muffins, but I do anyway. I have never gotten hurt from it, though.
Names: I love names. All kinds of names. I have a list of my favorites, which include (includes?) Elsa, Theo, Bridget, Ian and Marguerite.
Carmen: I love the music from Carmen and I really want to see it sometime.
Running with scissors: I always run around the house to get from place to place (I know it's weird, it's just how I roll). Much of the time this is to get scissors or something of the like. Hence, running with scissors.
The Color Purple: My favorite book. Don't believe Rachel, it is not all about "people raping each other". Only at the beginning does that happen.
Psychology: I'm really interested in psychology, and one of my favorite things to do is go to the bookstore and read their big, hardcover books on evolutionary psychology and the like. I can't wait to take psychology as a junior.

1. You're insane, like me. I like talking to insane people, because I can bounce off them and they can laugh at me and I can laugh at them. It's good.

2. YOU LIKE CAPSLOCK. No, seriously though. The fact that you're willing to talk to me despite the fact that I'm your little sister's best friend - that's pretty cool. Really cool.

3. You actually don't seem to mind when I pounce you in school. This is good. Also, you like Neil Gaiman. 'Nough said. I can always count on you for book recommendations.
