This is a good mix! I've had it playing for a bit 2 over hours now. Though Leonard Cohen's '84 recording is my "Hallelujah" of preference. Still, the song fits. :)
Reciprocity time! I think this should be Felix's theme song in The Mirador: Protège Moi. (IDK if you know French, so here's a translation.)

And oooh, thank you and I haven't been able to listen yet, but the lyrics look very Felixy. I haven't seen Triplets of Belleville yet but now I really feel like I should.
I feel bad for liking Rufus Wainwright's version better, but I don't know. And lyric and soundwise, either song works. I'm glad you enjoy! <33 Gideon needs more love.

Indeed, Gideon needs way more love. I've run into a bunch of fans who are all, "Meh, he was boring," and I'm like, "WTF book were you reading?!?" I'd read a series about him! I'd also love to know the backstory with Thaddeus. *fangirls*

BUT. Gideon is awesome! And not boring, at all, I was sad when he got terminated because I ship him/Felix hard. Because Gideon doesn't put up with Felixbullshit past a certain point and that's good for the boy. (Along with, yanno, genuinely seeming to care about him.)
