Hello my writer for Not Prime Time! First things first - you are a wonderful human being, a fabulous writer, and I will enjoy whatever you choose to do. Just to get that out of the way before you start freaking out about how picky I may or may not be. I really am pretty easy to please. And I tried to leave my prompts niiiice and vague.

I'm pretty hard to squick on things. There are a few very specific things I never ever ever want to see, but most of those won't come up for this exchange, so I won't even bother listing them unless under the pertinent section. Character bashing is a big no no for me. Even for characters I don't like, I would always rather read an understanding and nuanced portrait of a character than anything else. Haters to the left and all of that. Yannow.

Things I do love...I love hurt/comfort, mostly shamelessly. I love introspective shit where we get to learn more about a character. I love dialogue heavy scenes between two people that tell us more about both of them. I love understatement. I enjoy dark endings a lot a lot but I am kind of a secret sap. There are enormous lists of fic recommendations at the top of this journal - feel free to look through them if you want more ideas about the kinds of things I enjoy.

( AND NOW TO THE SPECIFICS for Code Geass, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Silmarillion, and White Collar )

I think that's about it. Have a great time, whatever you choose to write, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Fandom: Code Geass
Medium: Anime
Subject: Lelouch vi Britannia
Title: The Power of the King
Notes: 23 songs from roughly beginning to end, all focusing on Lelouch although occasionally sidetracking into Lelouch/other people because apparently I can't help myself. This one was really fun to make. And I am rather absurdly fond of it. So sue me. (Also this is the last one which is really completed. I have a bunch of drabbles to write for the ficmix one, so it probably won't turn up until after finals. Also? Ridiculously image heavy. Not for the faint of connection.

I forgot how much this fucking show makes me hurt. It is like.

SILLINESS AND MELODRAMA AND oh wait ow. Bawled through "Madder Sky." And Suzaku! Lelouch! Suzaku and Lelouch! YOUR BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP.

And of course R2 turns up the pain to like 12.

Fuck the haters. I love this show, in all its (bordering on absurd) glory.

Want to write fic now. Also want a LloydandCecile spinoff. It would be wonderful, don't look at me like that.

Also a fantastic soundtrack.

I don't usually look very actively for fanvids, but every so often they turn up and I like them. A lot. All may do contain spoilers, so be warned for that. May be updated as I find more/actually start looking.

Avatar: the Last Airbender
Paper Planes - MIA by thedeadparrot (DW). Toph! The sync is awesome, and while I'd never have thought of this song for Toph it actually works pretty well.

Code Geass
Life's Gonna Suck - Denis Leary by CaramellNeko. Just...ridiculous. I loled.

Viva La Vida - Coldplay by rinir10010. Okay, I imagine it's the most overly fanvidded song ever, but I like this one! And it fits so many characters very nicely. And this one is well put together, I think; I like the way it was executed.

You Know My Name - Chris Cornell by Kagatoamv. Again, well put together, with a different tone.

Death Note
Thnks fr th Mmrs - Fall Out Boy by 3lgoonishive. Intense!!! A little more frenetic in terms of cutting than perhaps I would prefer, but it fits both song and series, so it works. Oh, it works.

Doctor Who
I Can't Decide - Scissor Sisters by agentthreeseven. The Master and this song may have been one of my favorite parts of the end of Series Three. And someone did me a service of setting all the best Master scenes to this song. Therefore.

Star Trek TOS
Tik Tok - Ke$ha by MissSheenie. Best vid ever. No, seriously. The cutting is perfect and the music matches up so well.

X Men: First Class

Somewhere Only We Know - Keane by DoubleDipProduction. I really like this song, okay? And this vid kind of made me want to cry. Which means, you know, instant favorite.

Anyone on my flist have any recommendations?
So say, hypothetically, I wanted a hypothetical PB for a hypothetical Rand al'Thor that I might hypothetically play. Who, hypothetically, would you recommend for the job? Because I'm drawing a hypothetical blank. Playing anime characters at least I don't have to worry about this...

Derp derp derp. This meme again! It's too much fun to deny. And it gives me a chance to try out the people I may hypothetically not be playing. You know how it is.

MEME A:
1) list all the puppets you mun ;
2) invite your flist to ask them questions to your muses directly;
3) reply to the questions in character, with the puppet journal.

OR

MEME B:
1) choose a puppet and I will tell you:
+ the last thing they did on screen
+ the last thing they did offscreen
+ the last thing they did out of RP canon (if applicable)
+ why I picked them up
+ how I got into that fandom
+ the last thing they want in life
+ the most important event of their lives (in RP canon)
+ the person they would miss the most
+ their dying words
+ three random, quirky facts about them.

( list of puppets, by fandom (including some I don't technically play anywhere <s>yet</s>) )

And then!

Day 15 - Character you'd want to cook for you
Lelouch, because this is actually what I was just thinking about. Benefit of having him as a roommate! (See last question.) Because I mean, he's sort of like a maid. Cooking and cleaning and everything. :D And like I said, I can forgive small hobbies like terrorism, who even cares!

Plus he's pretty easy on the eyes. And those uniforms. Rawr. I'm pretty sure there's a question about that later too.

Day 15 - The first movie you saw
Oh good lord. I don't even remember. Watership Down and it explains a lot. ANYWAY I think it was probably The Lion King because that was my favorite for a long time, I only watched animal movies for the first ten years of my life (maybe more) and I just think it was. So yes. Lion King was my first movie.

Clearly my thing for evil geniuses started young?
